Developing TENTPEGS
Developed by a team of health psychology researchers at The University of Manchester
Development work has included: systematic reviews of existing behaviour change interventions5, 6; qualitative work with health professionals and medical educators to identify existing barriers to engaging in effective behaviour change talk in practice7, 8; translation of the evidence-base identifying theory-aligned behaviour change techniques into usable and useful communication tools for health professionals (i.e. the TENT PEGS tool kit and training)4; evaluations of change in health professional confidence and likelihood of using the TENT PEGS toolkit in practice3; exploration and tailoring of the TENT PTEGS training to online and face-to-face training formats9. |
